Some of my family and friends wondered how I began to entertain the idea of starting my own business. So, I thought that I should answer their question of my beginnings in my first article.

It's interesting how everything worked out. I was skimming through my Facebook news feed one day; and a post of Stephanie Burk's blog entry "How I became a traveling pharmacist" caught my attention.

As soon as I discovered how Stephanie (my classmate) became a traveling pharmacist, I elected to read another entry, titled "How 'Adaptability' is truly a strength in my life today," in which she emphasized the importance of passion and purpose for living a happy and balanced life.

In the past, Stephanie had a passion for pharmacy and a purpose of helping others live healthier lives. However, she recently discovered her other passion for traveling and purpose of funding her travels; and ever since her realization, her blog and Instagram contain only smiles and great memories of her adventures in life.

Encouraged by Stephanie's newfound happiness, I decided to perform the similar thought exercise below:

Passions: What do I enjoy?

  • Quality time with loved ones

  • Traveling

  • Art

  • Outdoor activities

  • Patient care

Purpose: How will I achieve my passions?

Career with the following characteristics:

  • Scheduling flexibility

  • Provision of enhanced pharmacy services

  • Income to fund passions

My conclusion: I will create my own dream job!

I will be courage, who is “fear that has said its prayers.”

As you can deduce, I found Stephanie's blog inspirational. As a result, I decided to pay her kindness forward by sharing my adventures. So, stay tuned!
